Steven A. Rogers, D.V.M.
Dr. Steven Rogers is a 1971 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Since 1975, he has been at this hospital. He has served both veterinary medicine and the City of Falls Church. He has been president of the DC Academy of Veterinary Medicine, the Northern Virginia Veterinary Medical Association and the Virginia Veterinary Medical Association. He also served as Secretary/Treasurer of the American Animal Hospital. Dr. Rogers served on the Falls Church City Council and as vice-mayor, as well as Chairman of the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce and the Falls Church Housing Corporation.
Dr. Rogers' awards include the AAHA Service Award in 1992, the Virginia Veterinarian of the Year in 1996 and the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine's Distinguished Alumnus of the Year in 2005.
Dr. Rogers has shared his home with many 4 legged family members, most recently Brandy, a crazy wire haired fox terrier and two Burmese cats, Mocha and Kona.
